Gary Lineker, Tottenham Hotspur cult hero, has praised defender Destiny Udogie for his fine start to the Premier League season.

Spurs are now unbeaten in three games and on a two-match winning streak, with the London side’s players starting to make a name for themselves in the first team.

Destiny Udogie, who was born in Italy to Nigerian parents, is one of the young players who have made a name for themselves in the Tottenham Hotspur first team in recent weeks. After spending last season with Udinese, he is now a regular in the Tottenham starting XI, having started each of Spurs’ Premier League games so far.

The 20-year-old has impressed on the left side of defence.

“Udogie’s destiny looks very positive,” Lineker wrote on X.
