UEFA on Thursday postponed the Euro 2024 qualifier between Kosovo and Israel, which was originally scheduled for Sunday, due to the ongoing conflict in Israel and Gaza.

“Israeli authorities currently do not allow their national team to travel abroad,” UEFA, European football’s governing body, said in a statement.

“A new date for the fixture will be announced in due course.”

UEFA postponed all matches scheduled in Israel for the next two weeks on Sunday, the day after Hamas launched a surprise offensive.

UEFA has rescheduled Israel’s Euro 2024 qualifier against Switzerland from Thursday, October 12 to Wednesday, November 15. The venue has not yet been announced.

Israel’s scheduled matches in the European Under-21 Championship and their participation in an Under-17 mini-tournament have also been delayed.
