UEFA Super Cup: How much PSG, Aston Villa will earn after final

Paris Saint-Germain will receive £4.3 million (€5 million) from UEFA after defeating Aston Villa 2–1 to win the 2026 UEFA Super Cup.

The French champions secured the trophy at the Red Bull Arena on Wednesday, becoming only the third club to win the competition in consecutive years, following Real Madrid and AC Milan.

Khvicha Kvaratskhelia and Désiré Doué were on target for Luis Enrique’s team, while Brian Madjo scored Villa’s only goal.

How much will PSG earn?

PSG’s £4.3m prize consists of a £3.4m (€4m) participation payment and a further £900,000 (€1m) bonus for winning the final.

The victory therefore takes the Parisians’ total UEFA Super Cup earnings to £4.3m.

Despite their defeat, Aston Villa will collect £3.4m (€4m), representing the standard participation fee given to both finalists.

Unlike PSG, however, Villa will not receive the additional £900,000 winner’s bonus.

UEFA is expected to make the payments to both clubs on Friday, August 21, nine days after the Super Cup final.
