Victor Osimhen gifts young boy N2.5m for imitating his style

The standout player for the Super Eagles, Victor Osimhen, generously awarded a young boy who emulated his appearance and demonstrated similar football abilities with a sum of N2.5 million.

The boy, depicted in a video donning a mask resembling Osimhen’s, grabbed the footballer’s attention after popular Instagram blogger Tunde Ednut posted the clip on his page on Tuesday.

In response to the video, Osimhen reached out to Ednut for help in finding the boy.

With assistance from Ednut and content creator Eriq Morak, the boy was successfully located in Ivory Coast.

Giving an update, Ednut wrote, “I initially thought this little man was Nigerian. You won’t believe we found him in Ivory Coast.

“#eriqmorak found him. He lives in Ivory Coast. I couldn’t see his message, so he reached out to #ogb recently_ and OGB messaged me. I spoke to the family briefly to make sure it was the boy.”

Subsequently, Osimhen extended his generosity by presenting the money to the boy, prompting expressions of gratitude from his family, who posted a video thanking the footballer for his kindness.
