Adeleke: Davido proposes ‘Timeless’ concert in Osun to celebrate uncle’s Supreme Court victory
Popular Nigerian musician David Adeleke, “Davido” has reacted to his uncle, Senator Ademola Adeleke’s victory at the Supreme Court, officially declaring him as the governor of Osun state on Tuesday.
Davido shared a short message with the caption, “We go dey shock dem like high tension” immediately after the judgment at the court on Tuesday.
The award winning musician also proposed organising a special ‘Timeless’ concert in the state to celebrate the Supreme Court victory.

A five-man panel of the apex court of justice had reinstated Ademola Adeleke of the PDP as governor of Osun state after a keenly contested election against the former governor, Adegboyega Oyetola of the APC on 16th July 2022
Recall that the election tribunal at Osogbo had earlier ruled in favour of Oyetola sacking PDP Adeleke who was just a few months in office. In its January 27, 2023 majority verdict, the Justice Tertse Kume-led tribunal annulled Adeleke’s victory and declared Oyetola the winner of the poll.
The Timeless crooner has been in a celebratory mood of late, as his “Timeless” album continues to shatter records. And now celebrating the victory of his uncle after the Supreme Court of justice ruling.
