BBNaija: I didn’t find any female housemate attractive – Fairme

Former Big Brother Naija housemate Fairme David has spoken about his experiences on the reality show.

When asked about his lack of romantic involvement during his time in the house in a recent interview with Pulse, Fairme said that he didn’t enter the program with the purpose of finding love.

His goal, he said, was to emphasise showing off his character and abilities.

Although Fairme agreed that developing relationships can be advantageous for the program, he would rather not seek a relationship just for show.

Fairme stated that he didn’t feel a strong attraction to any of his fellow female housemates, despite finding them all beautiful.

He emphasized that if he had genuinely developed feelings for someone, he would have explored the possibility of a relationship.

In his words:

“I did not go to the house to find love. Love is not my problem. I went on the show to showcase myself,” he said.

“Everyone on the show and even the viewers know that being in a relationship takes one far in the reality show, but I didn’t want to fake a romantic relationship to appeal to the viewers.

“If I had caught feelings for anyone, I would have gone for it but I did not find any female housemate attractive. Honestly, I did see my spec. But they were all beautiful women in that house.”

Fairme had also revealed that he won’t go with his partner Mickey, if given another chance to enter the show again.

He revealed this during a recent Instagram Live session.

In response to an interviewer’s question about whether he would bring Michky along if he had another chance,

“No. I would rather go with my sister,” Fairme said.

Michky, on the other hand, expressed deep gratitude towards Fairme, explaining that it was Fairme who introduced him to the show.

“I was not a fan of BBNaija. Fairme was the person who introduced me to it. My brother is always busy, so I couldn’t have chosen any other partner than Fairme,” Michky said.
