The Grammy-winning American diva Beyoncé recently launched her new whisky brand, SirDavis.

The singer shared the news of the release on Instagram, posting a photo of herself holding a whisky bottle and showcasing the bottle, which was branded with a golden horse.

Beyoncé included a line from her 2024 hit song “Bodyguard” in her caption.

“Davis in my bones,” she wrote.

The renowned master distiller Bill Lumsden and Moët Hennessy partnered to create the whisky brand.

“A marriage of the complexity of rye with the elegance of malted barley, finished to perfection in Pedro Ximénez sherry casks, creating a harmony of spice with sublime hints of fruit,” is how the official website characterises the whisky.

The name ‘SirDavis’ is a tribute to Davis Hogue, Beyoncé’s great-grandfather. The brand also nods to her son, Sir.

On the website, Beyoncé shared a letter to her great-grandfather, reflecting on his legacy and its influence on her.

“I feel you in the landscapes. Your laughter rolling in the rye. What songs did you sing? What gaps did you fill? Great-grandfather, did you dream of me? Your legacy is a force that drives me. For you, I raise my glass to legacy,” she wrote.

The 750ml bottle of SirDavis is available for preorder at $89.99 on the brand’s website.

Also, the SirDavis brand home is set to open in Beyoncé’s hometown of Houston in 2025.

This launch follows the introduction of Cécred, the singer’s hair care line, in February, and Cé Noir to her fragrance collection in 2023.
