Popular Nollywood actor Pope Odonwodo, also known as Junior Pope, is dead.
Filmmaker Sam Olatunji revealed the actor’s demise on Wednesday, April 10, stating that he and three other people perished after their boat overturned.
When the sad tragedy occurred, they were on their way to a movie site. A day before he passed away, the charismatic actor was still being the same person, which has left many of his fans in shock.
The actor is known to show off his wife and children and he puts in effort to portray his movie roles. In addition to being a well-known actor, Junior Pope also makes skits, and his videos draw in viewers. He was 39 years old.
“Four actors including Jnr Pope fell into Anam River on their way to location and their bodies have been recovered. What a sad day for Nollywood. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family. Multiple sources confirm this sad development to us.”

Close family members of the late actress confirmed the devastating news to Freedom Radio, revealing that Daso was discovered dead on Tuesday morning, leaving her friends, family, and fans shocked by the unexpected death.
According to family members, Daso was discovered deceased after returning to bed following Sahur, the pre-dawn meal consumed before fasting during the holy month of Ramadan.
