The American singer-songwriter Billie Eilish has disclosed personal information regarding her past relationships.
In a recent interview, the 22-year-old musician disclosed to Lana Del Rey that she has never gone through the anguish of being heartbroken or dumped.
According to Billie Eilish, she has always ended relationships on her own initiative.
She stressed that while her actions don’t necessarily mean that her ex-partners were completely innocent, she did put her own health first and knew when something wasn’t right.
She said:
“I’ve never been dumped, and also, I’ve never been broken up with. I’ve only done the breaking up,” she revealed.
“I think when people hear that, they’re like, ‘Oh, all you do is break hearts.’ Sure, but that doesn’t mean that people are totally innocent. It means that I was like, ‘Oh, let me get the fuck out of here.’ Or it means things just weren’t right.”
