Grammy-winning artist Burna Boy has suggested the possibility of temporarily stepping back from actively creating music, akin to the approach taken by billionaire Barbadian singer Rihanna.

Burna made this revelation through an Instagram story post, where he disclosed being presented with an offer of ‘unimaginable’ value.

According to Burna, his passion for music is about to be put to the test, as he is reportedly being offered a large sum of money to sign a contract

He wrote: “With The numbers I’m seeing on this contract. These next years of my life are about to really show if I really love doing music. ”

“God must really want to test my love for music. I just might bounce on y’all like Rihanna.”

Rihanna released her first solo track, “Lift Me Up” in six years on Friday, October 28, 2022,

a poignant ballad titled “Lift Me Up,” dedicated to the late actor Chadwick Boseman.

This song, co-written by Nigeria’s international sensation Tems, is included in the soundtrack for the Marvel movie “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.”

This film follows the success of the 2018 box office hit “Black Panther,” in which Boseman portrayed the central character, King T’Challa.

Rihanna’s fans have been eagerly awaiting the follow-up to her 2016 album, “Anti.”

However, the singer, born Robyn Fenty, has only featured on a few songs in recent years, such as “Lemon” and “Believe it.” Her new single, “Lift Me Up,” is her first solo release since “Anti.”

The 34-year-old Grammy Award winner also performed at the Super Bowl halftime show in February 2023, where she displayed her second baby bump.

In recent years, the chart-topping singer-songwriter has expanded her makeup and lingerie lines.

She also welcomed her first child, RZA Athelston Mayers, with her rapper partner A$AP Rocky in May 2022. Their second child, Riot Rose Mayers, was born in August 2023.
