Singer and Big Brother Naija finalist Hazel Oyeze Onou, better known by his stage name Whitemoney, has asserted that he pays his staff three to five years ahead of time.

The reality star also revealed that he employs 150 people at the moment.

In an exclusive interview with Echo Room, he made the assertion.

Whitemoney clarified that he pays his employees ahead of time to avoid the hassle of making monthly payments.

The host asked,

“I heard that you pay staff members a couple of years in advance; five years, three years in advance. Is this true?”

Whitemoney replied, “To be honest, it is. I operate in that system because it helps me take my mind off things. The way I set up my system is because I’m versatile; I do a lot of things and I can easily get carried away. Currently, I have 150 staff members.”

In another story, Whitemoney stated that when he inevitably gains international acceptance, Nigerians will regret not having supported his music career.

This was revealed by the reality TV personality turned musician in a recent interview with Echoo Room.

According to Whitemoney, Grammy Award-winning musician Burna Boy experienced a similar situation. When he rose to fame, Nigerians called him “proud” because he was too expensive for Nigerian concert promoters.

The artist promised that when he gets big internationally, Nigerian event promoters would regret not helping him too.

“Nigerian promoters will regret not supporting my music. Your only prayer should be that I shouldn’t make it in this music industry because if I make it, you all will pay.”
