Nollywood actresses Iyabo Ojo and Lizzy Anjorin appear to have resolved their months-long social media feud.

The actresses started exchanging allegations and insults on Instagram last year.

Anjorin said in November that Iyabo “is the individual behind” a prominent but unreliable blog. She further asserted that Iyabo is aware of the circumstances surrounding singer Mohbad’s passing.

However, Iyabo sued Anjorin for N500 million on the grounds of libel. She insisted on a formal apology and the removal of the commentary.

Moreover, Anjorin was given a 14-day window to reply to the claim or risk legal action.

When Anjorin did not show up for court in February, Ojo disclosed that the court would be sending out another summons.

However, Ojo said in a now-viral social media video that the judge in their case had advised them to stop insulting each other online and resolve their disagreements peacefully.

Anjorin sported a smile as her lawyer explained the judge’s role in ending their conflict.

The lawyer added that both actresses expressed their readiness to make peace.

Lateef Lawal, Lizzy’s husband, was said to have approached Ojo after the case was settled and gave her a hug.

Recall that, Iyabo Ojo has initiated legal proceedings against her colleague Lizzy Anjorin regarding certain accusations made against her.

Recall that Lizzy, through a series of online videos, levied accusations against Iyabo, claiming she was romantically involved with singer Naira Marley. Lizzy also made various allegations concerning Iyabo’s daughter and her partner, Paulo.

Furthermore, she accused Iyabo of being the mastermind behind the well-known anonymous blog, Gistlover.

In response, Iyabo Ojo, represented by her lawyer Olumide Alake, has sent a letter to Lizzy demanding both an apology and payment of damages amounting to N500 million.

Lizzy has been given a 14-day deadline to respond to the legal proceedings.

Sharing screenshots of the lawsuit on her Instagram page on Tuesday, Iyabo wrote: “14 days is round the corner. Saga activated.”
