The Nigerian singer Tems has revealed what she believes to be the majority of men’s intentions when they approach a relationship.
In an interview with Korty EO, a YouTube video maker, the Grammy-winning musician was questioned about her romantic history.
In response, Tems asserted that a lot of men in relationships merely desire sex.
“A lot of guys, they are very obvious. There is no agenda but to penetrate,” she said.
Tems has no publicly disclosed relationship yet.
In May, she revealed she has “never been on a bad date”.
Tems rose to fame in 2020 with her collaboration with Wizkid on the hit song ‘Essence’.
She released her debut EP ‘For Broken Ears’ in the same year.
In 2023, Tems won her first Grammy award in the ‘Best Melodic Rap Performance’ category for her role in ‘Wait for U’, a song by Future featuring Drake.
In March, she was honoured with the ‘Breakthrough Award’ at the Billboard Women in Music Awards.
In a different story, Tems revealed that she is an expert at choosing a partner.
She explained that she looks for humor, intelligence, and height in a potential partner.
The Oscar-nominated artist shared this on the ‘Chicken Shop Date’ with Amelia.
“I have never had a bad date. I think I’m very good at picking men. Just make them your b*tch,” she said.
On her ideal man, she said, “Just intelligence, funny. I feel like funny people are intelligent. As far as you are intelligent, tall… I don’t really care about height but..”
Amelia inferred, “Okay, it sounds you do.”
Tems added, “My love language is physical touch. I don’t know if my love language is act of service because I’m always the one doing the servicing.”
