A Lagos State Magistrate’s Court in Yaba has approved bail for singer Azeez Fashola, widely recognized as Naira Marley, and Lagos socialite Balogun Eletu, known as Sam Larry, each in the amount of N20 million.
Additionally, they are required to provide three reliable sureties.
It’s worth noting that on October 6, Naira Marley, Sam Larry, and two other individuals were arraigned and detained due to their connection with the circumstances surrounding the death of singer Ilerioluwa Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad.
Magistrate Adeola Olatunbosun instructed the defendants to surrender their passports and mandated them to make weekly appearances at the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID) in Panti.
In her ruling, Olatunbosun said: “As part of the bail conditions, the defendants are to surrender their passports and make weekly appearances at the State Criminal Investigation Department.”
She also cautioned against any direct contact with her regarding the case.
She cautioned: “Any attempts to contact me directly would be recorded and potentially disclosed in open court proceedings.”
