Embattled singer Joshua Iniyezo, frequently referred to as Solidstar, confessed that his music career has been riddled with highs and lows.

The singer, who reportedly was battling mental health issues last year, described his journey into the world of music as one that was filled with triumphs and tribulations.

Recall that Solidstar was admitted at a rehab centre last year following his addiction to drugs. But he’s back again as he drops a new song, “Sonto”, which he describes as “a piece of my heart poured into every beat and lyric.”

He apologized to his fans and everyone he had hurt or offended during his darkest moments.

“I am far from perfect, but I am committed to growth, empathy, and understanding. Please forgive me, in your own time and in your own way,” he said.

Taking to his Instagram page to show remorse as well as announce the release of his latest song, Solidstar also wrote, “ Today, I release “SONTO,” a piece of my heart poured into every beat and lyric.

“I want to take this moment to express my deepest gratitude to each and every one of you who stood by me during my darkest hour. Your unwavering support, whether through a message, a call, or a silent prayer, meant more to me than words can convey.

“To my fans, friends, and family: thank you for never giving up on me, even when I struggled to hold onto myself. Your love has been my guiding light, leading me out of the shadows and into the warmth of healing.

“I also want to extend a heartfelt apology to anyone I may have unintentionally hurt or offended along the way. I am far from perfect, but I am committed to growth, empathy, and understanding. Please forgive me, in your own time and in your own way.”

Solidstar , however, pledged to use his social media platform not only to create music but also, to advocate mental health awareness and to spread positivity in every note and every word.

“Together, let’s embrace our imperfections, support one another, and journey towards a brighter tomorrow,” he added.
