‘O ya send account,’ fan embarks on bicycle journey from Benue to Lagos to meet Davido, singer reacts
International hip hop sensation, David Adeleke popularly known as ‘Davido’ has asked for the bank account details of a fan who is said to be riding a bicycle from Benue to Lagos to see him.
On Thursday, an X (former Twitter) user shared photos of the young man, claiming he has spent eight days on the road.
The X user also rallied support from other social media users to ensure the information gets to Davido.
In his initial response to the post, the singer stressed that he is currently not at home. He also urged the fan to turn around and go home.

But the fan insisted on coming to Lagos to see Davido, adding he is already in Benin.
“Am not going back Boss I most present my gift to you @davido Benin state heading to Ogun any moment from now,” he wrote.

Responding, Davido maintained that he is not in Lagos. He, however, asked the cyclist to send his bank account details.
The singer also encouraged him to embark on the journey when he returns.
“U no wan hear …. Oya send account … then u can do ur great journey when I’m back,” Davido wrote.
In a previous post, the Afrobeats singer indicated that he is currently in Croatia.
With strings of awards and honourary mentions, the singer has established himself as one of the leading names in the African music industry.
