Popular British actor, Idris Elba tests positive to Coronavirus
Popular actor, Idris Elba on Monday said he has tested positive to the deadly Coronavirus pandemic.
The British actor disclosed this on his twitter page, saying that this morning, he tested positivee to COVID-19, but said he felt okay.
The actor added that he had no symptoms so far, but had been isolated since he found out about his possible exposure to the virus.
“This morning, I tested positive for Covid 19. I feel ok, I have no symptoms so far but have been isolated since I found out about my possible exposure to the virus. Stay home people and be pragmatic. I will keep you updated on how I’m doing. No panic,” he tweeted.
Born on 6 September, 1972, Elba, an English actor, writer, producer, musician, DJ, rapper, and singer, is known for roles, including Stringer Bell in the HBO series The Wire, DCI John Luther in the BBC One series Luther, and Nelson Mandela in the biographical film Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom (2013).
He has been nominated four times for a Golden Globe Award for Best Actor – Miniseries or Television Film, winning one, and was nominated five times for a Primetime Emmy Award.
