Rudeboy accused Eedris of consistently making negative remarks about his fellow artists, citing specific incidents involving Psquare, 2Face, Timaya, D’banj, and most recently, Burna Boy.
He claimed that Eedris made untrue assertions about being a champion of the Nigerian music industry, contending that in actuality, Eedris betrayed his fellow artists by accepting a meager payment for a 50 Cent show two decades ago, despite the group having previously negotiated a more substantial performance fee.
Rudeboy expressed that despite maintaining silence on the matter for a span of two decades, he found it necessary to address Eedris’ perceived sense of entitlement by speaking out.
In a recent Instagram story post, he wrote in Pidgin: “Every eke market day we go de hear ‘I fought for the industry. Na me cook de food wey una dey chop.’ I go just de laugh.
“Now you wan reply with music you go reply taya !!! Over 20yrs I have kept silence about what really transpired, how we top Nigerian artists as of then agreed with one voice, about payment conditions and treatments on same 50-cent show, only for this greedy guy to go behind and collected peanut.. you de expect vip treatment ontop peanut payment?
