US based Nigerian dancer Korra Obidi, has drawn criticism on social media following the announcement of her Hawaii vacation plans, which she made just days after starting a GoFundMe page.
Korra called out for financial support on Friday so that she could fight for her parental rights against her ex-husband, Justin Dean.
The performer stated that Dean was able to get a court order that forbade her from sharing any photos of their two kids on social media.
She started a GoFundMe page to raise money to appeal the court decision, and more than 950 people from around the world contributed more than $50,000.
On Sunday, during a Facebook live, the dancer announced that she was going to Hawaii for vacation, three days after she launched her campaign.
This however provoked a chorus of condemnation on social media platforms.
While many users accused Korra of scamming them, others slammed the people who donated money to her in the first place.
