[VIDEO] AGN pays condolence visit to family of late Junior Pope

Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) members visited the bereaved family of late Nigerian actor Junior Pope Odonwodo to offer their condolences.

This occurs weeks after the actor and four other people were engaged in a boat accident while leaving a filming location.

AGN president Emeka Rollas and his group paid their respects to the late actor’s family, according to a recent update posted on the actor’s Instagram page.

Emeka asked for supernatural power to help Junior Pope’s family deal with the loss of their brother and son while sharing the inaudible footage of their visit.

He captioned the post:

“An official condolence visit to the family of junior pope in the company of the actors guild chairman Enugu chapter @mrbrownene hon Barr Ugochi Madueke commissioner for culture and tourism enugu state and hon. Aka eze aka Commissioner for information Enugu state. May god give the family the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss.”

The funeral plans for the late actor, detailed in a notice signed by Divine Odonwodo on behalf of the family, include a requiem mass on April 23 at Saint John-Mary Vianney Parish in Asaba, Delta State. Another requiem mass will take place at Christ the King Catholic Parish, G.R.A., Enugu, on May 13.

On May 14, there will be an evening of tributes and a candlelight ceremony at the Amadeo Event Centre in Enugu starting at 5 pm. This will be followed by a wake on May 16 at his ancestral home in Uwala Abaka, Ukehe, located in the Igbo-Etiti Local Government Area.

Junior Pope will be laid to rest on Friday, May 17, at his country home following a burial mass at Saint Peter’s Catholic Church, Ukehe.
