The lawyer for Martins Vincent Otse, also known as Verydarkman, has stated that his client complies with every one of the strict bail requirements imposed upon him.
It was previously reported that Tonto Dikeh had detained Verydarkman a few days prior on charges of slander and accusation that she co-runs the anonymous site Gistlover.
In an Instagram video that went viral, the attorney claimed that three individuals were responsible for the TikToker’s apprehension as they had sent letters to multiple law enforcement agencies.
The legal practitioner alleged that actresses Tonto Dikeh, Iyabo Ojo and singer Samklef are the people behind it and they were pained by the fact that they lost the last time.
The attorney stated in the video that the activist’s bond requirements were extremely strict. He clarified that his family was able to supply the two senior government officials that they had requested. He was not, however, freed because it was stated that the overall boss was not accessible for signing.
They also requested a businessman with real estate in Abuja, according to a different site. The individual needs to turn in N200 million and his international passport for a year.
The lawyer also said the activist who linked up with Davido in London was grateful for the support he has received since his case started. He said that protest was allowed both online and physically if they wouldn’t him get bail, adding that they would follow due process in the case.
