Popular actor turned minister, Yul Edochie has broken his silence on why he didn’t hold a church service on Sunday, February 18.
Yul Edochie began by apologising to his church members on the photo and video sharing app, Instagram.
Only a few days after being caught on camera sharing a glass of beer with his second wife, now mother-in-law Judy Austin, he apologised for not holding a live broadcast service.
The couple had shared the video to mark Valentine’s Day on February 14.
It would be recalled that netizens in reaction to the video had dragged the self-ordained pastor after he was seen drinking beer since he is now a church minister.
Yul Edochie, son of veteran actor, Pete Edochie, who hasn’t missed a live Sunday service since the emergence of his ministry, True Salvation Ministry noted that the reason for the failure was due to some ‘unavoidable challenges’.
Yul Edochie wrote:
“Greetings to all members of True Salvation Ministry worldwide.
We sincerely apologize for not holding our live broadcast today.
This was due to some unavoidable challenges.
But they have been sorted out.
Thank you for your understanding.
See you all in our next live broadcast.
To all our new members, you can still watch our previous live broadcasts on our YouTube channel, Yul Edochie TV.
This week will be wonderful and prosperous for us all in Jesus’ name, Amen.
Always remember that the most important teaching of God is LOVE.
God bless us all.”
