“Your biggest supporters will come from strangers” – popular entrepreneur Kelvin Diamond

Entrepreneur Kelvin Diamond emphasises how our path to success can be shaped by unforeseen sources of inspiration.

Diamond highlighted that on occasion, the most important help we receive comes from strangers. He claims that these strangers, free from prejudices and personal history, provide a different viewpoint and sincere support than our long-time friends.

Diamond went on to say that our friends might not always be thinking about us in the best way possible. They may be jealous or competitive even though we depend on them for company and shared experiences. We should be aware that when we work hard and pursue our goals, some friends may quietly discourage us out of concern that our accomplishments will eclipse their own.

He said:

“your biggest support would come from strangers. Most of your friends truly never want you to be successful or better than them.”

In a different story, Nollywood star Sam Dede asks for money to help filmmaker Reginald Ebere, who is confined to bed.

On the set of the rerelease of Reginald Reginald’s 2001 smash film Issakaba, actor Lancelot Oduwa Imasuen made the request.

Sam and Lancelot Oduwa Imasuen could be seen pleading for financial support for the ailing filmmaker in a video that actress Iyabo Ojo posted to Instagram.

Sam Dede stated:

“Reginald Ebere wrote the very first script of Issakaba and incidentally it was I who changed the name of the lead character to Ebube.

Today Reginald Ebere is bedridden. He suffered stroke two times but very strong-willed person. He is still moving on but he is a bad shape, If you live in that concept of truth and justice, please let us find a way to support Reginald Ebere.

If there is anything you can do to support him, please look him up to support him.”

Lancelot Oduwa immediately organised a fundraiser on set and many of his colleagues donated money to the actor. Sam Dede and Lancelot Oduwa donated N100k each to the sick actor.
