“How God gave me my husband after years of waiting” – Sharon Ooja gives testimony

Nollywood actress Sharon Ooja has testified in church about how, after years of waiting, her patience and faith brought her to meet her husband, Ugo Nwoke.

At the Harvesters International Christian Centre on Sunday, Sharon shared her testimony and talked of a personal spiritual experience in which she asked God for direction in her love life.

She described how, after years of yearning for a life companion, she had a direct experience with the Holy Spirit.

Even though Sharon had succeeded in her work, her finances, and her personal development, she still yearned for a relationship, she disclosed. According to Sharon Ooja:

“Several times I would have conversations with God, saying, ‘You’ve given me work, financial stability, and I’m great at what I do. There’s just one thing I’m still waiting for,”

Her turning point came after a conversation with a “Pastor B” who asked her what qualities she was looking for in a man. Sharon replied: “Someone who will take care of me.”

The pastor, however, encouraged her to focus on personal growth, which prompted her to reflect on herself.

While filming a movie in the desert last year, Sharon said she had an encounter with the Holy Spirit. She recalled the moment vividly, saying:

“I was filming in the desert and had a heavy encounter with the Holy Spirit. I remember hearing, ‘Leave your burdens here.’”

Shortly after this spiritual experience, she met the man who would become her husband, describing him as “the best man in the world.”

Sharon’s testimony comes just two months after her luxurious wedding in June.

She shared that she had promised God to return and give her testimony, fulfilling that promise with gratitude and joy. Watch her speak below:

The song, which also features Tiwa Savage, received varied reactions, particularly from many male social media users who criticized its demeaning tone.

While speaking on Angela Yee’s podcast, ‘Way Up,’ Simi revealed that it was Adekunle Gold who suggested the idea for the song.

It just hit me and I was like, ‘I will love to have Tiwa on the song.’ We [our music] don’t generally go in the same direction but I was like, it would be so nice to find that balance and do something that would bring our synergies together. TRENDING: ‘Come celebrate my darling husband’s birthday with me,’ Tinubu’s minister tells other cabinet members

Minister of Women Affairs, Uju Kennedy-Ohanenye, has called on other cabinet members to join her in celebrating her husband’s birthday.

In an invite to her colleagues dated January 29, 2023, the 50-year-old asked them to join her for the celebration on Sunday, fondly describing her husband as the “birthday boy”.

“Please come celebrate my darling husband’s birthday with me,” the letter leads.

    “Birthday boy: Double Chief Kennedy Ohanenye.“Date & Time: 4th February, 2024 / 3pm dot.

    “Venue: Transcorp Hilton Hotel.”

One of the event planners in an interview with TheCable said the memo was only intended for ministers, adding that the event was billed as a “low-key, small interaction”.“I don’t know how the memo got out, besides it’s nothing serious. It’s just a small interaction,” she said.

In what appears like an error, the year ‘2023’ as written on the invite was a typo that should have read as ‘2024’.

Not much is known of the minister’s husband except that he is also a lawyer, a businessman, and a philanthropist.

In an interview she granted last year, the minister said she always looks forward to spending time with her husband whenever she is not at work, describing him as her “main baby”.

“You will not believe it, and I don’t know how to explain it. He is my main, main first baby,” she said.

“That is the first thing I look forward to. Then, I love to cook for him personally. There is no day I don’t prepare something for him, even if it is only spaghetti.

“That is why I always come to work early. By 8am or 8.30am, I’m here, and by 5pm, I must have rounded off what I’m doing and I go home to make some food for my husband and my children.

“I have a cook but I have these special meals that I usually do and some of them don’t take long to get prepared and ready. I bring out the food, serve and we eat together and gist.
