BBNaija’s Uriel Oputa speaks on caring for her mother with Dementia

The Big Brother Naija star Uriel Oputa has talked candidly about her experience taking care of her dementia-stricken mother.

She recently discussed the difficulties and benefits of providing care in an Instagram story.

According to Uriel, the experience is complex and both devastating and fulfilling.

She underlined that although love is a permanent source of support and strength, every day presents new difficulties and feelings.

She wrote:

“Caring for someone with dementia – especially when that person is my mother – is the most challenging, heartbreaking, and rewarding experience. Each day brings new hurdles and deep emotions, yet we face them with love. In the end, love becomes both our strength and our solace”.

Recall that, Uriel Oputa addressed netizens questioning her marital status, emphasizing that marriage isn’t for everyone.

In response, she took to social media to say that she does not feel pressure from her family or the public since she does not consider marriage to be an accomplishment.

According to Uriel, social media is not necessary for her to prove her married status. She went on to say that she wouldn’t even reveal the news online if she got married.

In her post, she wrote:

“Those always commenting on my post “Why aren’t you married”
