Governor Makinde, during the presentation at the Ayefele Music House, Challenge, Ibadan, praised the broadcaster for his resilience and contributions to the entertainment industry and media growth in Oyo State.
He said, “On behalf of the State Governor, Makinde, and the State Government, we are here to commiserate with you. You are a symbol of perseverance and inspiration to millions of Nigerians.
“On behalf of the Governor and the state government, we present this gift to you.”
It would be recalled that Makinde had earlier visited the station a day after the inferno to commiserate with Ayefele and assess the extent of the damage.
