Odutola assumes duty as Ogun state police PRO

Police Superintendent,  Omolola Odutola, has assumed duty at the Ogun State Police Command as the new police public relations officer.

This came after Abimbola Oyeyemi, the command’s most recent spokesperson, was transferred to Oyo State.
Oyeyemi, who made the announcement on Thursday, thanked the media for their assistance throughout his time in office.

He said, “You people made my job easier as I enjoyed the best of reportage from your various platforms. You people made me to be very popular beyond my own expectations.

“There is time for everything,” she said, adding that “it’s time for me to leave, as my service is needed elsewhere. Kindly extend the same cooperation to my successor.”

The new PPRO for Ogun, SP Odutola, is a professional criminologist and attorney who joined the Nigerian Police Force in 2012 as a member of the ASP Course 25.

Odutola was the first Public Relations Officer of the Maritime Command, Force Headquarters Annex, Kam Salem House, Obalende, Lagos, and has worked at the Ondo State Police Command.

Odutola is a graduate of the Olabisi Onabanjo University in Ago Iwoye, Ogun State, and a member of a number of professional associations, including the Nigeria Bar Association and the Nigeria Institute of Public Relations.
