Nollywood actress Wumi Toriola has expresses gratitude to Nigerians for their overwhelming support since the release of her debut film, Queen Lateefah.
She highlighted the important lessons she discovered while reflecting on the fulfilling experience of breaking into the larger market in a recent Instagram post.
Wumi‘s appreciation is a result of her film’s favourable reception, which surpassed her early projections. She expressed her gratitude to all those who helped make the movie a success, including the actors, crew, and coworkers.
The actress acknowledged that the journey was not without its challenges, but the end result was well worth the effort. She expressed her joy in seeing the positive impact the film had on its audience, creating happy memories that will linger.
She wrote,
“Thank you, Nigeria. It was a worthy, humbling, and impactful experience. Oh yes! A great experience exploring the wider market and to be very honest, it was a learning curve for me.
My gratitude knows no bounds.

Thank you for your love towards QUEEN LATEEFAH.Having recorded the success QUEEN LATEEFAH attained at the cinemas, l am beyond overwhelmed with the love and reception. What started as an uncertain idea blossomed into something greater than I could have imagined.
