Nigerian music icon, David Adeleke, widely known as Davido, has spoken about wearing cufflinks featuring a portrait of his late son, Ifeanyi.
According to Naija News, Davido and his wife, Chioma, both honored their son’s memory by incorporating his image into their wedding attire during their ceremony in Miami on August 10, 2025.
Chioma had Ifeanyi’s picture attached to her bouquet, while Davido wore cufflinks bearing the same image.
In a conversation with Vogue Wedding, Davido explained that including the image was a meaningful way to carry Ifeanyi with them during the celebration.
He said, “My cufflinks held a portrait of our angel, Ifeanyi, a way to keep him close to our hearts on the most beautiful night of our lives. I felt at peace. I got to marry the love of my life and I get to wake up next to her forever.”
Meanwhile, Anita Brown, who is alleged to be Davido’s baby mama, has sparked reactions online following a recent post targeting what she called the deceptive lifestyles of some celebrities.
Taking to Instagram, Anita shared a lengthy message aimed at wealthy individuals she accused of projecting false images of luxury.
Although she didn’t name anyone directly, her post surfaced just days after Davido and Chioma’s wedding on August 9, 2025, in Miami — an event attended by numerous celebrities and high-profile guests.
She criticized the flaunting of luxury items like designer handbags, wedding rings, and expensive fashion accessories, suggesting many of them were not authentic.
Anita also claimed that some billionaires lack key values such as integrity, loyalty, and ethics, insisting that no amount of outward glamour can hide what she called an empty lifestyle.
