Elders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Odo-Otin and Ifelodun Local Government Areas of Osun State have commended ‘Kunle Adegoke (SAN), popularly known as KRAD, for his innovative agricultural land management and aggregation strategy designed to transform farming and agribusiness in the state.

Their commendation comes as Adegoke, a frontline APC governorship aspirant for the 2026 gubernatorial election, continues to unveil his transformative vision for Osun’s agricultural, economic growth and diversification.

At a series of familiarisation meetings held in Inisa and Ikirun over the weekend, APC leaders and executives praised Adegoke’s strategic focus on leveraging the state’s natural and human resources to drive an agricultural revolution. His proposal emphasizes efficient land use, modern farming techniques, and the creation of agricultural hubs to boost food security and generate employment.

Comrade Poju Odusola, APC leader in Odo-Otin, described KRAD as “a movement ready to shine,” noting that his sophisticated yet practical approach to agricultural transformation could position Osun as a leading player in agribusiness. Similarly, Alhaji Asa, APC Chairman in the area, applauded Adegoke’s commitment to revitalizing the state’s economy through land reform and agricultural innovation.

Adegoke’s strategy includes fostering partnerships with local and international investors, offering soft loans and grants to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), and equipping young people with modern agricultural skills. He stressed that his blueprint aligns with the urgent need to reduce reliance on federal allocations by unlocking Osun’s agricultural potential.

“We are inspired by Kunle Adegoke’s clear and actionable plan to transform Osun’s agricultural sector,” said Baba Lawuwo, APC leader in Ifelodun. “His focus on land management and aggregation will not only boost food production but also create sustainable wealth and opportunities for our people.” Elders in Ifelodun echoed this sentiment, affirming that Adegoke’s vision aligns with the aspirations of Osun residents for prosperity and self-sufficiency.

Reiterating his commitment, Adegoke, a Senior Advocate of Nigeria and technocrat, said: “Our goal is to create a conducive environment for investment in agriculture, mining, industrialization, and tourism. By modernising land management and aggregating resources, we will empower farmers and youth to build a thriving economy.” APC elders in both local governments urged members and residents to rally behind his candidacy, expressing confidence that his leadership would usher in a new era of prosperity for Osun State.
