The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has opened applications for its Basic Military Training Course (BMTC) 46/2025, inviting eligible Nigerian youths to apply online at no cost.
According to the announcement, the recruitment exercise runs from October 14 to November 25, 2025. Interested candidates are required to complete their applications via the official portal: www.nafrecruitment.airforce.mil.ng.
The opportunity is open to both tradesmen and non-tradesmen within specified age brackets. Non-tradesmen must be between 18 and 22 years old, while tradesmen applicants must fall between 18 and 27 years. All applicants must be Nigerian citizens and meet the Air Force’s medical, physical, and psychological fitness standards.
In terms of qualifications, candidates must have at least five credits, including Mathematics and English, in not more than two sittings in WAEC, NECO, GCE, NABTEB, or NBAIS.
Additionally, applicants applying as tradesmen or sportsmen are required to provide professional certificates and other relevant credentials.
The notice stressed that the entire application process is free of charge, warning applicants to beware of fraudulent agents or unofficial websites.
Candidates are also required to print acknowledgment forms, consent forms, and attestation documents to be signed by specified local government or security officers.
Successful candidates will later be invited for zonal aptitude tests and further screening at designated Air Force centres across the country.
The announcement was signed by Air Vice Marshal AH Bakari, for the Chief of the Air Staff, who encouraged qualified Nigerians to seize the opportunity to serve their nation with pride and professionalism.
