Nollywood actress Regina Daniels has broken down in tears in a new video, expressing deep frustration and despair over ongoing family challenges while sharing a heartfelt message declaring, “I give up.”

In the emotional video posted via her Instagram Story early Friday, the actress revealed she was struggling both emotionally and mentally.

“I tried. I feel like I’m going crazy, I’m losing my mind, and it’s not making any sense. I’m really crying in front of everybody,” Daniels said in the video.

The actress, who recently celebrated the reconciliation of her once-estranged parents on Thursday, said their reunion was purely for her happiness.

“Two concluded sworn enemies reuniting with no negative ulterior motive other than their daughter’s happiness,” she wrote.

According to Daniels, her parents are currently in Abuja, working together to secure the release of her brother, Sammy, who has reportedly been detained for several days.

“Sammy’s detainment is taking way too long, but we will get him out even if I have to march there myself and create a storm! Since they want me!” she stated.

In another video shared by the actress, fellow Nollywood star Mercy Johnson was seen searching for Sammy, saying, “He’s not here,” before adding that she would continue the search elsewhere.

Through tears, Daniels voiced her exhaustion and hinted at returning to her husband.

“But please, what am I even begging for? I don’t know. Do you guys think it’s easy? Every time I wake up, I say one thing — oh my brother, today I hear good news, he’s about to be free, then tomorrow I hear another thing. Like, what’s the problem? But I’ve tried. I have to go. I will go back,” she said.

Her emotional breakdown follows a new message she shared regarding her brother’s continued detention, alleging abuse and corruption in the process.

This comes weeks after Daniels hinted she had suffered domestic violence in her marriage.

On October 18, a viral video showed the actress crying while surrounded by aides and relatives, saying, “In Ned Nwoko’s house, I am nothing. But in my house, I am a queen. Not again. I can’t stand the violence, it’s too much.”

Her husband, Ned Nwoko, denied the allegations, claiming her emotional outburst was due to “drug and alcohol abuse” and stating that she required rehabilitation.

On Wednesday, Daniels released another video pleading with Nigerians to stop attacking her mother, describing her as her “pillar and protector.”
