The daughter of Fuji icon King Wasiu Ayinde Marshall, popularly known as KWAM 1 or K1 De Ultimate, Dami Marshall, has debunked reports suggesting she is romantically involved with singer Asake.
The rumours emerged after Dami posted a photo with Asake from an event and captioned it “Mr Money and Mrs Money,” a move that quickly sparked speculation across social media platforms.
Addressing the claims, Dami explained that she is not dating the singer, stressing that the picture was taken the first time she met him.
She cautioned the public against believing unverified blog reports, adding that such platforms often fabricate stories to drive traffic.
“Guys, that was my first time meeting him [Asake], so I took a picture. Do not believe blogs, they can do anything for traffic,” Miss Marshall wrote on her Instagram page, putting an end to the rumours.
Meanwhile, Asake has not been publicly linked to any romantic partner since his reported split from his former Gambian girlfriend, Madame Mystique, in 2024.
