The All Progressives Congress has labelled as fake a report circulating in the media on the alleged prices of “expression of interest” and “nomination forms” for the 2027 general elections.
The graphic, which appeared on Friday, claimed that presidential aspirants would pay N200m for nomination forms, while candidates for state assembly seats would pay N20m.
APC’s National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, clarified on Saturday that the report “did not emanate from the Party” and described it as “a mere figment of the writer’s mischievous imagination.” He added that no decision or announcement has been made regarding the sale or pricing of forms for the 2027 elections.
The party urged members, the media, and the public to completely disregard the report.
