The Nigerian rapper, Eedris Abdulkareem, has again criticised the administration of President Bola Tinubu.
During a recent performance in Edo State, the artiste condemned the handling of insecurity in the country, referring to how the president’s visit to victims of the recent Jos attack was managed.
He also criticised Seyi Tinubu over his claim that his father is the “best president ever”, arguing that he is not in a position to make such a declaration on behalf of Nigerians.
The rapper went further to describe Tinubu as the “worst Nigerian president ever”.
“The commander-In-chief, who has all the security personnel, went to Jos and could not enter the town to console those who lost their loved ones to terrorists,” he said.
“Tinubu is the biggest fraud, and anyone who supports him may Nigeria happen to you. Nine months ago, Seyi entered national TV claiming that his father is the best president. Seyi, if your father is the best president, you are not the one who would tell us; we would be the ones to tell you.
“Seyi, your father is the worst president. If you think you are eating under the APC government and you do not want to talk, may Nigeria happen to you.”
This is not the first time the outspoken musician has criticised public figures and authorities.
In June 2024, he released a song titled ‘Emilokan’, where he criticised Enoch Adeboye, founder of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), urging him to be “critical” of Tinubu’s government as he was during Goodluck Jonathan’s administration.
In April 2025, Eedris also put out ‘Tell Your Papa’, where he criticised Seyi Tinubu and urged him to relay Nigerians’ struggles to his father.
The track was later banned by the National Broadcasting Commission (NBC) for allegedly breaching Section 3.1.8 of the Nigerian Broadcasting Code.
His earlier song ‘Jaga Jaga’ was also banned from radio by former President Olusegun Obasanjo in 2004, though it later gained popularity as an underground anthem.
