The Nigerian actress, Doris Ogala, has reignited her public dispute with Chris Okafor, accusing him of allegedly orchestrating another attempt to have her arrested.

In an emotional video shared on social media, Ogala claimed that police officers surrounded her residence and attempted to take her into custody.

She alleged that the officers, who said they were from a Lagos division, were sent by Okafor.

“I have police people in my house, I do not know where they are coming from. I do not know how they entered my house,” she said while visibly distressed.

“I have police in my house. They say they are from Lagos. Chris does not want to leave me alone. He has carried me to three courts. Now, he has taken me to more than seven police stations. There is one in zone 2. There is one in Abuja zone 7.

“Chris is the one sending them. They have surrounded my house. If you people do not see me again, you should hold Chris Okafor.”

The dispute between both parties began last year after a video of the cleric’s engagement to Pearl Okafor surfaced online.

Ogala later alleged that she had been in a romantic relationship with Okafor since 2017, claiming he persuaded her to leave her marriage and later betrayed her after years of promises.

She subsequently demanded that he either marry her or pay compensation, escalating her claims to N1 billion for alleged breach of promise.

She also accused him of being involved in the alleged poisoning and death of her brother.

Despite the controversy, Okafor went ahead with his marriage to Pearl in both traditional and white wedding ceremonies.

Okafor initially dismissed Ogala’s accusations as “the devil’s anger” linked to his marriage, but later publicly apologised to her, acknowledging aspects of their past relationship before retracting the apology weeks later.
