Liverpool manager Arne Slot has voiced strong confidence about remaining at Anfield, stating that he fully expects to continue as the club’s manager next season as preparations for the new campaign progress.
According to Fabrizio Romano on X on Thursday, Slot said, “I have every reason to believe I will be the Liverpool manager next season.”
The Dutch coach also disclosed that Liverpool have already started putting plans in place for next season, including ongoing discussions with prospective transfer targets.
“The plans for next season have been made, talks are ongoing between the club and new players, and I am involved in that,” he stated.
The remarks arrive as Liverpool intensify preparations for the summer transfer market, with expectations that the squad will be reinforced in several departments ahead of the 2026/27 season.
Slot’s comments are expected to calm rumours regarding his future and reassure fans that the club remains committed to long-term planning and team development.
Since succeeding former manager Jürgen Klopp, Slot has played a major role in reshaping the squad and guiding Liverpool’s football project.
