Dembele has insisted he will be “100% fit” for Paris Saint-Germain’s Champions League final against Arsenal.

PSG progressed to the final for a second straight season after a dramatic 6-5 aggregate win over Bayern Munich, having won the trophy the previous year.

The French forward, a key figure in PSG’s recent success, has been in strong form in this season’s campaign, scoring three goals against Bayern and contributing significantly in recent matches.

He was, however, substituted early in PSG’s final Ligue 1 game against Paris FC due to a minor calf concern and has since been receiving treatment.

Despite the setback, Dembele remains confident he will be available for the final in Budapest on May 30.

“I’m doing very well. I had a slight scare against Paris FC, but I’m fine, and I’ll be ready for the final,” Dembele told French broadcaster RMC Sport.

“Will I be 100% for the final? Yes, yes, I think so, yes, I’ll be ready. I have no doubt about it. I hope to be on the pitch on May 30.

“I’ve had so many minor scares or major injuries in my career, whether here at PSG or even before, especially with the big matches coming up, especially this final, I preferred to stop and, above all, not take any risks.”

Dembele has scored 19 goals in all competitions this season and also leads PSG’s assist chart with 11.
