Nigeria lost 2–1 to Portugal in an international friendly as the European side completed their World Cup preparations with a second straight win.
Pedro Neto put Portugal ahead before Akor Adams drew Nigeria level for the Super Eagles.
However, Portugal restored their lead through substitute Francisco Conceição, who curled a superb effort into the far corner to seal victory for the hosts.
The result meant Portugal went into the World Cup on a winning run, while Nigeria were left to reflect on a narrow defeat despite Adams’ equaliser.
