The wife of music executive Oluwatosin ‘Mr Eazi’ Ajibade, Temi Otedola Ajibade, has revealed that she found out she was pregnant while on honeymoon with her husband.
The actress and media personality had announced in May that she and Mr Eazi were expecting their first child, sharing photos that showed her baby bump.
Speaking on a recent episode of their podcast, Temi disclosed that the discovery came about three weeks into their honeymoon in Tokyo, Japan.
She explained that she became suspicious after experiencing unusual symptoms, including motion sickness and a loss of appetite during the trip, which led her to take a pregnancy test.
“We found out I was pregnant about two and a half weeks into our honeymoon in Tokyo. One day, while we were walking around the city, I knew I wasn’t feeling well and I was getting carsick. Then we had dinner at an Italian restaurant one night, and I couldn’t eat the pasta or any of the food,” she said.
“At that moment, I thought I might be pregnant because I was feeling strange, and I imagined that could be what pregnancy feels like. So we got a pregnancy test strip. What freaked me out, though, was that in movies you usually have to wait about ten minutes for the result, but mine was instant.
“After the first test, Tosin was in denial. He didn’t believe I was pregnant, so we took a second test and also went for a scan, which confirmed the pregnancy.”
Temi and Mr Eazi began their relationship in 2017 and got engaged in April 2023.
The couple later sealed their six-year romance with a lavish three-part wedding ceremony held across Monaco, Dubai and Iceland, an event widely rumoured to have cost around $15 million.
Recently, Mr Eazi hinted that another wedding celebration could still take place, stating, “and we have one more to go”.
