Actor Olanrewaju Omiyinka, popularly known as Baba Ijesha, has announced the arrival of his baby boy.
The actor shared maternity photos featuring himself and his wife on Instagram on Monday, where he revealed the birth of their son.
Baba Ijesha also disclosed the child’s name as King Kagar Omiyinka.
Expressing appreciation to God for the blessing, he wrote: “In quiet ways, in unseen ways, God has been writing a story only He could tell. We thank the Almighty for blessing us with a healthy baby boy.
“God gave me more than I prayed for. My ever-beautiful wife, strong Jagaban, Abikese de mi owo, @ceolumineeofficial, who became the mother of my son, King Kagar Omiyinka.”
The development comes months after Baba Ijesha regained his freedom in November 2025, three years after an Ikeja Special Offences Court sentenced him to 16 years imprisonment in July 2022.
Since his release, the actor has granted several interviews and released a song titled “Eniwaye Dáràn”, which he said was aimed at proving his innocence in the case that led to his incarceration.
