Nollywood actor and filmmaker Lateef Adedimeji has opened up about the journey to parenthood with his wife and fellow actress, Mo Bimpe, describing the experience as one filled with anticipation, surprise, and gratitude.
Speaking during an interview with former Your View host, Morayo Afolabi-Brown, Adedimeji said he devoted extra care and attention to his wife throughout her pregnancy because they had waited several years to have children.
He also praised Mo Bimpe, describing her as a resilient and strong woman.
“When you’ve been up and expecting, and then it now finally happened, you will pamper her, but she’s a strong woman”, he said.
The actor also revealed that discovering they were expecting triplets came as a shock, but also with mixed emotions.
Adedimeji also addressed claims about his involvement during delivery, stating that he was present throughout the process.
“I cannot stay back; we did it together. We are in it together; I was right there, and I saw it happen. It wasn’t an easy task. I give it up to women. Well done,” he said.
On plans for more children, the actor said the decision rests with God, but noted that Bimpe hopes to have a girl.
“Everything is in God’s hands because they are boys. I know my wife will love to have a female so we can do one more round, maybe,” he added.
The couple announced the birth of their triplet boys in May 2026.
In a video shared at the time, Adedimeji was seen with Bimpe holding their ultrasound scan as he thanked God for blessing him with “more than I prayed for.”
