Nigerian TikTok personality Habeeb ‘Peller’ Hamzat has announced that he will marry his fiancée, Amadou ‘Jarvis’ Elizabeth, on August 1, 2026.

Peller shared the announcement in an Instagram post on Saturday alongside a save-the-date video.

“The wait is almost over. Save the date as we begin forever together. We can’t wait to celebrate this special day with you,” Peller wrote.

The couple, who are among Nigeria’s most popular social media duos, made their relationship public several months ago.

They got engaged in June during an event in Accra, Ghana, after Peller went down on one knee to propose with a ring in the presence of friends and invited guests. Jarvis accepted the proposal.

Their engagement came after a brief separation, which Jarvis had attributed to misunderstandings surrounding Peller’s decision to keep parts of their relationship private while publicly denying they were romantically involved.

At the time, Peller had also declared that he would never date or marry a Nigerian woman again.

“I know I’m already broken up, but whenever I decide to get a girlfriend, it won’t be in Nigeria… I will never marry a Nigerian,” he had said.

The couple later reconciled and continued sharing moments from their relationship with their followers.

Ahead of announcing their wedding date, Peller and Jarvis also held their traditional bride price ceremony in Benin City, Edo State.
