Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has celebrated his Chief of Staff, Tayo Ayinde, as he clocks 62, describing him as a dependable figure who has contributed significantly to the administration.
In a birthday message issued on Monday by the governor’s Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Gboyega Akosile, Sanwo-Olu commended Ayinde for his dedication and performance in office.
The governor noted that Ayinde’s two-term tenure as Chief of Staff had been marked by commitment, competence and effective leadership.
He also highlighted Ayinde’s involvement in the administration’s governance efforts, political mobilisation and the last two general elections.
Sanwo-Olu said, “On behalf of my adorable wife, Ibijoke, family, the government, and the good people of Lagos State, as well as the State Executive Council and all staff in my office, I join family, friends, political associates, leaders, and members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Lagos State, to celebrate my Chief of Staff, Mr. Tayo Akinmade Ayinde, on his 62nd birthday.
“My Chief of Staff is a reliable, trusted, loyal, and hardworking gentleman and partner in the Greater Lagos agenda. He is a committed public servant who has displayed a high level of competence, accountability, and transparency in public office.
“Mr Tayo Ayinde is a beacon of grassroots mobilisation and support, hard work, loyalty and sincerity. He is a man of integrity, diligence and a model of excellence. He is worth celebrating because of his remarkable impact in our dear Lagos State and Nigeria.
“As we celebrate Mr Tayo Ayinde today on his 62nd birthday, I pray that the blessings of God will be with him for him to continue rendering more service to humanity, our dear Lagos State and Nigeria.”
Sanwo-Olu further praised Ayinde as a distinguished gentleman and God-fearing public servant whose contributions had supported the growth of Lagos State.
He wished the Chief of Staff continued success, good health and more years of service to the state and the country.
