Nigerian actress and filmmaker Toyin Abraham has described herself as “the greatest of all time” in the Nigerian movie industry.
The declaration came shortly after she announced ‘Bestie’, her latest movie, which is set to premiere in cinemas on December 16.
In a post shared on X on Saturday, Abraham confidently proclaimed her position in the movie industry.
“I am the greatest of all time in the movie industry, and the greatest movie, Bestie, is coming on the 16th Dec in all cinemas.”
Abraham is regarded as one of Nollywood’s successful actresses and filmmakers, having built a notable career both in front of and behind the camera.
She achieved a major milestone in January with ‘Oversabi Aunty’, her 2025 film, which surpassed N1 billion in box-office earnings in Nigeria.
The movie became the first directorial debut by a Nollywood filmmaker to cross the N1 billion mark. It also became the fourth highest-grossing Nollywood movie of all time.
The achievement further strengthened Abraham’s profile as one of the prominent figures in Nigeria’s film industry.
