Gerald Adebija has become the eighth housemate to be evicted from the 2026 edition of Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) ‘Show Ya Sef’.
The reality TV star was sent out of the house on Sunday night during the live eviction show after recording the lowest number of votes for the week.
After his eviction, Gerard appeared on stage with Ebuka Uchendu, the host of the reality show, where he spoke about his experience throughout the competition.
He also appreciated the platform and revealed his intention to continue pursuing opportunities in acting, broadcasting and content creation.
Martins and Mercedes were the first housemates evicted from the 2026 edition, while Neche exited the show voluntarily.
Kamsy became the fourth housemate to leave the competition, followed by Cassi, who was evicted on August 23.
Sultex and Goddessa were subsequently evicted as the sixth and seventh housemates to leave the reality show.
The 2026 season premiered on July 26 with 24 housemates competing for the grand prize.
This year’s winner is set to receive a record N160 million prize, making it the biggest prize in the history of the reality show, which began in 2006.
