A man has expressed disappointment after checking an investment he made in Fidelity Bank shares 18 years ago.
He said he purchased shares worth ₦20,000 nearly two decades ago but never checked on the investment until recently.
According to him, hearing about Dangote selling shares prompted him to revisit his own investment and find out how it had performed over the years.
He said he was surprised to discover that the investment had yielded a total of ₦5,332 in returns over the 18-year period.
“I bought shares worth N20,000 in Fidelity Bank 18 years ago and never checked since then. But after hearing Dangote selling shares, I decided to finally check. To my surprise, the shares had only given me a total of N5,332 after 18 years,” he said.
