Nigerian media personality Nedu Wazobia has raised concerns over the increasing cost of living in the country, saying many Nigerians are struggling to meet their daily needs.
In a recent video, Nedu highlighted the rising expenses associated with essential needs such as school fees, rent, food, transportation, fuel and healthcare.
He said the financial pressure has made it difficult for many salary earners to cope, despite having regular incomes. Nedu added that some people have resorted to engaging in immoral activities in an effort to survive the challenging economic conditions.
“People are doing things they never imagined they will do, hurting people, betraying people, cutting corners, not necessarily because they were born wicked but because survival has become a daily battle in this our country. We just want an economy where working hard can actually mean something, where a parent can provide for their children without stress and where ordinary Nigerians can wake up tomorrow with little less fear and a little more hope. At least we deserve that,” he stated.
