The Nigerian naira traded at ₦1,328.4974 to the US dollar at the official foreign exchange market on Wednesday, September 23, 2026.
Data from the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), as reported by Naija News, showed that the latest rate represented a slight change from Tuesday’s figure of ₦1,327.7784 per dollar.
At the parallel market, the naira closed at ₦1,385 to the dollar on Wednesday.
However, rates offered by commercial banks, Bureau de Change (BDC) operators and other foreign exchange dealers may vary from the reference rates due to transaction margins and prevailing demand and supply conditions.
Market participants are expected to continue monitoring foreign exchange inflows, dollar demand and CBN policies for indications of whether the naira can sustain its gains through the month.
