Jay-Z’s Roc Nation Sports is reportedly planning to send three-year-old soccer sensation Nevada Pierre to Spain in December, following a viral incident at a youth soccer game in Florida.

According to The Breakfast Club’s Loren LoRosa, the sports division intends to work with Nevada’s family to create opportunities for the young player overseas.

“I’m told they’ll work with the Roc Nation sports division over seas, as they represent a lot of soccer players, and plan to create opportunity for Nevada by doing all of the above,” LoRosa wrote.

Roc Nation Sports represents several prominent athletes, including basketball player LaMelo Ball and Real Madrid footballer Vinícius Júnior.

The reported opportunity aligns with plans previously discussed by Nevada’s parents, Martasia Griffin and Don Pierre, to potentially relocate to Spain to support their son’s football development.

Nevada attracted widespread attention after a dispute at a youth soccer game in Winter Park, Florida, on Saturday, 24 October. The three-year-old was playing against children as old as five when the incident occurred.

Reports initially suggested that some parents complained that Nevada was too talented and did not pass the ball enough, prompting league officials to call the police.

“They’re mad at my son because he actually plays soccer,” Griffin told responding officers. “They’re literally kicking him out of this place because he’s good at soccer.”

However, i9 Sports disputed that account, telling ESPN that the police were called over a disagreement involving adults rather than Nevada’s performance.

The organisation said nobody was arrested, trespassed or forced to leave the park. However, the adults involved were later asked not to return to the programme, and the family’s participation fee was refunded.

The incident has attracted considerable support for Nevada. His family’s GoFundMe campaign has raised more than $42,000, while his TikTok account has gained approximately 750,000 followers.

Roc Nation Sports also publicly expressed support for the youngster on Instagram, commenting, “Keep shining Nevada, we support you!”

Former United States men’s national team player Eddie Johnson has offered to train Nevada at his EJE7 Soccer Academy in Orlando.

Johnson said Nevada’s family had approached him when the boy was two years old. However, he recommended that the youngster continue playing in a youth league because he was too young for the academy at the time.

“His situation has brought light to a lot of the things that still exist in youth soccer in this country,” Johnson wrote on Instagram. “Entitlement, Jealousy, Envy, Nepotism, Gatekeeping and profiling especially against people of color.”
